Letter to the Editor: Today's letter to the editor in the Journal Times Courier http://jg-tc.com/news/opinion/ by Jack Pierce was excellent. He told about his belief in the biblical creation account as he considered
"the human body...with its intricate design and inter relationships of every cell and organ with each other in order that we humans, both make and female, might live, breathe, function, reason, and perform the intricate and difficult tasks. Perhaps the miracle of reproduction being the most remarkable of all."
Wow, great letter.
Harmful Solution: Bi-Pass Surgery to Cure Diabetes
On the NBC evening news a "revolutionary breakthrough" in treating diabetes was reported to have been discovered. The study found that bi-pass surgery cured diabetes for a large number of patients.
I amazed at the lengths the medical community will go to legitimize a barbaric, unnatural, expensive, and disabling surgical procedure. I have never in my office seen a patient who has under gone bi-pass surgery for weight control who did not eventually experience multiple health problems. Many of them gain much of the weight back as well.
The body was not designed to carry extreme amounts of excess weigh. All kinds of things will go wrong with the muscle and skeletal system and well as the endocrine system including diabetes. Over weight is a lifestyle disease and is completely curable naturally without drugs and surgery.
Bi-pass surgery as do most medical procedures will not cure the problem but only relieves the symptoms. It is $25,000 band aide covering up the underlying cause of the problem destroying the patient's health. A long term program of training in a proper diet and help with the many factors contributing to over weigh is working according the Creator's design for health.
